Low cost cinema in Paris and around

With friends, with your family, with your significant other or alone, going to the movies is a very nice outing but sometimes pretty expensive. To do a cheap cinema in Paris, we don’t drink, we don’t eat pop corns and we do not buy even less sweets per kilo (soooo expensive !). Thankfully some cinemas have pity for us, young people (-26 years old).

Cinema tickets with normal price

A cinema ticket in a UGC movie theater, for example, is 11.90€ for a full aged person. When it comes to the prices of the Pathé Gaumont’s, I don’t even want to talk about it! At this price, cinema becomes an special outing unless you can get a discount.

For the true aficionados, it’s better to buy an unlimited subscription:

UGC Illimité : 21,90€ / mois
UGC Illimité 2 : 36,80€ / mois

Pathé Gaumont Pass Intégral : 23,50€ / mois
Pathé Gaumont Pass Intégral Duo  : 39,50€ / mois

But for us, the – 26 years old, cinema is such a pleasure when it costs only 4,90€ (week-ends excepted) and when you realise that two movies worth it as it less than 10 euros.

For student of any age, if you show your student card, it’s 7.90€.

I’m going to give the list of the cinemas which offer to us this grace :

UGC Ciné Cité Bercy

(lots of movies are in English with French substitles)

2 Cour Saint Emilion

72012 Paris

Pathé Quai d’Ivry IMAX

2 Quai Marcel Boyer

94200 Ivry sur Seine

MK2 Bibliothèque

(lots of movies are in English with French substitles)

128-162 avenue de France

73013 Paris

(Be aware on the  week end, it’s 7,90€!)

There is also a cinema which costs 5,90€ all week for the – 26 years old:

UGC Gobelins

66 avenue des Gobelins

75013 Paris

NCL and I use and abuse of these cinema and it is dope when we wan’t to see several movies. I think one day, we will spend an entire day in there!
